Some good news - the pelican that was rescued from the waters off Santa Cruz is doing really well, especially considering she could not even hold her head up when she was brought to shore. The many calls we received this week once again highlighted the dire need for community transport teams - transporters who can help get injured wild animals to various care facilities throughout Los Angeles and the Bay Area...
