Christmas Goose: WildRescue's directors, Rebecca and Duane, will be attempting another rescue of a Canada goose at Elkhorn Slough this morning. Read more about the bird and watch for an update, HERE.

Just yesterday, we responded to an injured bobcat found on the side of the road in Santa Cruz. Thanks to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter and our responder, Sammarye, the animal is now at Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley, receiving treatment. Read the whole story, HERE.

GREAT NEWS! The juvenile red-tailed hawk that had been shot with a nail - she was spotted again, yesterday, at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. She looks to be in excellent health and is proving to be a great hunter of squirrels.
